Meeting point:
- We are kindly asking to be on time, point on map Kalo Chorio to Palaichori road at 16:45. We start at 17:00!
Camping & Hiking at Platania!
Weekend, 24-25 May 2025
Day 1, Friday 23.05.25
- For those who are interested we will be there around 18:00 !
Day 2, Saturday 24.05.25
- Afternoon hike around 5km at triple waterfall of Platania at 18:00!
Day 3, Sunday 25.05.25
- Morning hike around 7km at Prodromos area at 09:00
Hiking Recommended equipment:
- Hat
- Long trousers
- Hiking shoes
- Clothing according to weather condition
- Hiking sticks
- Energy bars or electrolytes
- A snack for the break
- At least 1 liter of water
Recommended equipment for camping:
- Clothing for 3 days (long sleeves are mandatory for the night)
- Tent
- Sleeping bag (3 season recommended)
- Sleeping mat
- Pillow (inflatable)
- Camping chair
- Camping stove and cookware
- Head lamp
Important Information:
- Each person is responsible for their meals during the event (2 breakfast, 2 lunches, 2 dinner and some snacks for the hikes)
- Our hiking club has a certified hiking leader
- Participation fee for our event €5 + €2 per person per night, including accommodation charge in camping site and the guided hikes (pre-paid)
